          printed to be committed to the Committee on Disabilities

        AN ACT to amend part Q of chapter 59 of the laws of  2016  amending  the
          mental  hygiene law relating to the closure or transfer of a state-op-
          erated individualized residential  alternative,  in  relation  to  the
          effectiveness thereof

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 2 of part Q of chapter 59  of  the  laws  of  2016,
     2  amending the mental hygiene law relating to the closure or transfer of a
     3  state-operated  individualized  residential  alternative,  as amended by
     4  chapter 176 of the laws of 2022, is amended to read as follows:
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     6  deemed repealed March 31, [2024] 2026.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
