A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section
numbered 23.1-902.2, relating to public institutions of higher education;
diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; annual certification.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 23.1-902.2 as follows:
§23.1-902.2. Diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; annual certification.
The chief executive officer of each public institution of higher education shall annually submit to the Council, the Governor, and the Chairmen of the House Committee on Education and the Senate Committee on Education and Health no later than August 1 a written, signed certification that no diversity, equity, and inclusion-related program, instruction, or initiative provided or sponsored by such institution promotes anti-Semitism.
