AN ACT
amending title 41, chapter 9, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-1444; relating to public accommodations.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 41, chapter 9, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-1444, to read:
41-1444. Baby diaper changing stations; definitions
A. Any public entity or private entity that constructs a new restroom or substantially renovates an existing restroom in a public building or place of public accommodation shall include at least one baby diaper changing station.
B. This section does not create a private right of action.
C. For the purposes of this section:
1. "Private entity" has the same meaning prescribed in section 41‑1492.
2. "Public building" means a building or appurtenance to a building that is built in whole or in part with public monies.
3. "Public entity" has the same meaning prescribed in section 41‑1492.
4. "Substantially renovates" means construction that costs at least ten thousand dollars.
