An Act

 

appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriations; department of transportation; Navajo Nation; wash crossings; exemption

A. The following sums are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2024-2025 to the department of transportation to distribute to the Navajo department of transportation for the following purposes:

1. $1,735,900 for the Cornfields Chapter Pueblo Colorado wash crossing box culvert installation project.

2. $9,563,800 for phase 1 of the N15 highway reconstruction project.

3. $662,800 for N1902 and N1903 Jeddito wash low water crossing improvements.

B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
