appropriating monies to the secretary of state.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; secretary of state; Arizona America250 commission; exemption

A. The sum of $500,000 and five FTE positions are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the secretary of state to support the Arizona America250 commission established by Laws 2022, chapter 49, section 1.

B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
