An act to amend Section 35420 of the Water Code, relating to water.

AB 3044, as introduced, Alanis. Water: distribution for irrigation.
Existing law, the California Water District Law, requires all water distributed for irrigation purposes, except as otherwise provided, to be apportioned ratably to each holder of title to land upon the basis of the ratio that the last assessment against that land for district purposes bears to the whole sum assessed in the district for district purposes.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that law.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 35420 of the Water Code is amended to read:

35420.
 All water distributed for irrigation purposes, except as otherwise provided in this article, shall be apportioned ratably to each holder of title to land upon the basis of the ratio which that the last assessment against his that land for district purposes bears to the whole sum assessed in the district for district purposes.
