An act relating to corrections.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 828, as introduced, Smallwood-Cuevas. Corrections: vocational training.
Existing law authorizes a sheriff or other official in charge of a county correctional facility to provide for the vocational training and rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals, as specified.
This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to vocational training for incarcerated individuals.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to vocational training for incarcerated individuals.
