AN ACT CONCERNING THE AWARENESS OF MANUFACTURING INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT ENROLLED IN TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 163 of the general statutes be amended to require the State Board of Education to provide information to local and regional boards of education stating that any student who is not enrolled in a technical high school may participate in any manufacturing internship offered by the school district in which such student resides.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase awareness of manufacturing internship opportunities for students who are not enrolled in technical high schools.
