AN ACT CONCERNING POOLING GROUPS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to eliminate any impediments to municipalities and regions forming pooling groups for the purpose of procuring health insurance and to exempt such pools from the insurance premium tax.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage regional cooperation by eliminating any impediments to municipalities and regions forming pooling groups for the purpose of procuring health insurance.
