AN ACT EXEMPTING SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX FOR CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the personal income tax all Social Security benefits for individuals sixty-two years of age and older.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from the personal income tax all Social Security benefits for individuals sixty-two years of age and older.
