AN ACT PROHIBITING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE RECIPIENTS FROM ENGAGING IN ELECTRONIC BENEFIT TRANSFERS AT CERTAIN ESTABLISHMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit recipients of public assistance from engaging in electronic benefit transfers at liquor stores, casino or gaming establishments and adult entertainment venues.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit public assistance recipients from making electronic benefit transfer purchases at certain establishments.
