AN ACT CONCERNING FEES FOR MUNICIPAL PLANNING, ZONING, WETLANDS AND COASTAL MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 22a-27j of the general statutes be amended to reduce the fee for municipal planning, zoning, wetlands and coastal management applications from sixty dollars to thirty dollars and require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to deposit such revenues into a reestablished Environmental Quality Fund, as once existed under section 22a-27g of the general statutes, rather than deposit such revenues in the General Fund.

Statement of Purpose:

To restructure the amount and use of certain fees for planning, zoning, wetlands and coastal management applications.
