AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO PREPARE A PLAN FOR THE RAPID DETECTION AND ERADICATION OF NEWLY DISCOVERED TERRESTRIAL INVASIVE SPECIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to develop a plan for the rapid detection and eradication of newly discovered terrestrial invasive species.

Statement of Purpose:

To develop a plan to detect terrestrial invasive species.
