AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID COVERAGE OF CHIROPRACTIC SERVICES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 17b-28e of the 2014 supplement to the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (c) as follows (Effective from passage):

(NEW) (c) Not later than July 1, 2014, the Commissioner of Social Services shall amend the Medicaid state plan to include treatment by a chiropractor licensed under section 20-27 as an optional service covered under the Medicaid program.
