AN ACT PERMITTING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO MAIL RAFFLE TICKETS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 7-172 of the general statutes be amended to permit a nonprofit organization to mail raffle tickets if the organization prints words on each ticket indicating that no purchase or payment is necessary.

Statement of Purpose:

To permit nonprofit organizations to mail raffle tickets to raise funds.
