AN ACT PROHIBITING PAWNBROKERS FROM PURCHASING, SELLING OR TRADING GIFT CERTIFICATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 409 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any pawnbroker from purchasing, selling or trading gift certificates, as defined in section 3-56a of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit any pawnbroker from purchasing, selling or trading gift certificates.
