AN ACT PROHIBITING INQUIRIES ABOUT CRIMINAL HISTORY ON CERTAIN APPLICATIONS FOR HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit inquiries about a prospective tenant's prior arrests, criminal charges or convictions on certain applications for housing.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit inquiries regarding a prospective tenant's criminal history on certain applications for housing.
