AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR PATRONIZING A PROSTITUTE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (c) of section 53a-83 of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalty for patronizing a prostitute under the age of eighteen.
Statement of Purpose:
To better align the penalty of patronizing a prostitute under the age of eighteen with other similar sexual crimes against children.
