AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCOME TAX TREATMENT OF SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to increase eligibility for deducting Social Security benefits from personal income tax.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide financial relief to persons receiving Social Security benefits.
