AN ACT CONCERNING THE OVERTIME COSTS OF RESIDENT STATE POLICE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 29-5 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the amount that municipalities pay for the portion of fringe benefits directly associated with resident state policemen overtime costs from one hundred per cent to thirty per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the amount of money that towns must pay resident state police officers for fringe benefits directly associated with overtime costs.
