AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONSUMER HEALTH INFORMATION INTERNET WEB SITE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Subdivision (2) of subsection (b) of section 19a-755b of the 2018 supplement to the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage):

(2) Information collected, stored and published by the [exchange] Health Information Technology Officer pursuant to this section is subject to the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, P.L. 104-191, as amended from time to time.
