AN ACT CREATING A COUNCIL ON ENERGY ASSURANCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 16a of the general statutes be amended to create a Council on Energy Assurance to advise the Governor on the status and performance of all energy plans and programs administered by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, so that residents and businesses have access to safe, affordable, diverse and reliable energy.

Statement of Purpose:

To create a Council on Energy Assurance.
