AN ACT INCREASING THE FINE FOR FAILURE TO DISPLAY A LICENSE PLATE ON THE FRONT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to double the fine for failure to display a license plate on the front of a motor vehicle, and to allot such increase to the municipality in which the citation for such offense is issued.

Statement of Purpose:

To facilitate identification of motor vehicles and provide revenue to municipalities.
