AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSES BY PRIVATE CONTRACTORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to authorize the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to contract with private contractors for the issuance of motor vehicle licenses.

Statement of Purpose:

To authorize the issuance of motor vehicle licenses by private contractors pursuant to contracts with DMV.
