DELAWARE STATE SENATE 146th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SENATE BILL NO. 27

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 17 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE ADVANCED ACQUISITION COMMITTEE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §137(a)(2), Title 17, Delaware Code by deleting "a committee" the first time it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof "an Advanced Acquisition Committee [hereinafter ‘committee']".

Section 2.Amend §137(a)(2), Title 17, Delaware Code by replacing the final "and" therein with "," and by inserting between "Representatives" and "to" the following:

", a member of the public designated by the Senate Minority Leader and a member of the public designated by the House Minority Leader".

SYNOPSIS

This Act adds 2 more public members to the Advanced Acquisition Committee and corrects an oversight by naming the committee in the provision creating it.
