A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Jess and Nellie McCain on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Jess and Nellie McCain were united in love and marriage on March 28, 1959, and will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year; and

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. McCain's 50 year union and unyielding loyalty and devotion to one another serve as an inspiration to their family, friends, and neighbors; and

WHEREAS, they have been blessed with the love of four remarkable children, Dennis, Debbie, Danny, and Donnie, three wonderful grandchildren, and one delightful great-grandchild; and

WHEREAS, the devotion, patience, and understanding they have demonstrated have provided the foundation and framework of success in which all of their family members have developed and flourished; and

WHEREAS, the McCains have been active members of the Cave Spring community for over 40 years, with Nellie McCain dedicating several years of selfless service on the city council; and

WHEREAS, known for their generosity and kindness, the McCains have made the world a better place in which to live, with many incredible contributions to their family, community, and state; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the McCains be congratulated on their many years of happiness and their magnificient 50 year commitment to each other.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body join in congratulating Jess and Nellie McCain on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend their sincere best wishes for many more happy years together.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. and Mrs. McCain.
