RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Thomas Youngerberg, member of the State Championship Berry
College Forensics Team; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Thomas Youngerberg is an outstanding student of Berry College and a team member
of the Berry College Forensics Team; and
WHEREAS,
the Berry College Forensics Team is a competitive, four-person team highly
skilled in oral communication, debate, and public speaking; and
WHEREAS,
Thomas Youngerberg is a naturally skilled communicator and was critical to the
Berry College Forensics Team's victory at the State Forensics Championship and
the Forensics National Championship for the teams' division; and
WHEREAS,
by his optimistic and determined example, he has demonstrated that the pursuit
and attainment of scholastic success is within the reach of the students in this
state and has set an example for other Georgia students to follow;
and
WHEREAS,
in addition, this amazing student took second place in Dramatic Interpretation,
fifth place in Oral Interpretation, and sixth place in Prose at the Forensics
National Championship; and
WHEREAS,
Thomas Youngerberg personifies the selfless dedication, mental agility, and
personal maturity necessary for superlative forensic performance;
and
WHEREAS,
his incredible perseverance, dedication, and hard work and his many achievements
bring tremendous honor to his family, school, and the State of Georgia, and it
is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to recognize the extraordinary
accomplishments, intellectual achievements, and unsurpassed commitment to
excellence of such an outstanding
individual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily
commend Thomas Youngerberg for setting an example of excellence for Georgia
students, congratulate him on his phenomenal performance as a member of the
Berry College Forensics Team, and express to him their sincerest best wishes for
continued academic success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Thomas
Youngerberg.
