RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Pamela Berger; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Pamela Berger has continuously served the Rockdale County CASA program for 11
years and advocated for over 38 children and their families; and
WHEREAS,
Pamela Berger has served as an Advisory Board member for Rockdale County CASA
and promoted the work of CASA in both the legal and public communities of
Rockdale County; and
WHEREAS,
she has assisted in CASA fundraising for four consecutive years and recruited
the Rockdale County Bar Association to recognize and assist Rockdale County CASA
as part of its Law Day activities; and
WHEREAS,
Pamela Berger has successfully volunteered with CASA programs outside of
Rockdale County and brought service and assistance to families residing in
counties with no available CASA programs; and
WHEREAS,
her limitless devotion, dependability, hard work, and dedication were recognized
by Georgia's CASA program through her nominations and awards for CASA Volunteer
of the Year in 2005, 2007, and 2011; and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of her amazing commitment to children, families, and safe and
healthy households, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding
accomplishments of this remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately
recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Pamela Berger on her selfless and dedicated service to the Rockdale County CASA
program and recognize the tremendous impact her efforts have had upon the State
of Georgia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an
appropriate copy of this resolution to Pamela Berger.
