A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Agni Kumar; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, a Milton High School Math Club member, Agni Kumar, had an outstanding performance on the first round of the 2011 Kennesaw State University Mathematics Competition; and

WHEREAS, she was the highest scoring student in the competition from Milton High School; and

WHEREAS, Agni Kumar has shown by the example of her academic accomplishments that the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the students in this state; and

WHEREAS, Agni Kumar has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, verbal adroitness, and personal maturity necessary for superlative academic performance, and the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this bright and promising young leader.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize Agni Kumar's spectacular scholastic endeavors and commend her on her performance at the 2011 Kennesaw State University Mathematics Competition.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Agni Kumar.
