A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE twenty-sixth REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The twenty-sixth representative district encompasses the area of Dowsett Highlands, Pacific Heights, Pauoa, and Punchbowl on the island of Oahu.
The purpose of this Act is to appropriate funds for the capital improvement projects for the twenty-sixth representative district.
SECTION 2. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2009-2010 to be expended by the department of education:
A. Lincoln school, Oahu
Design and construction for air conditioning upgrades.
Design/Plans $ 500,000
Construction 3,000,000
Total funding $ 3,500,000
B. Lincoln school, Oahu
Design and construction to repair rock wall in school parking lot.
Design $ 90,000
Construction 850,000
Total funding $ 940,000
C. Roosevelt high school, Oahu
Design and construction of rock and cliff stabilization below building F.
Design $ 80,000
Construction 750,000
Total funding $ 830,000
D. Roosevelt high school, Oahu
Plans to update of the school master plan to identify land for campus use.
Plans $ 200,000
Total funding $ 200,000
E. Roosevelt high school, Oahu
Design and construction for renovation and expansion of the school gymnasium.

Design and construction for a two hundred stall multi-level parking facility.

SECTION 3. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 2 shall be expended by the designated agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2009.
