A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO LABOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 386-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending the definition of "disciplinary action" to read as follows:
""Disciplinary action" means personnel action by an employer in the form of punishment against an employee for an infraction of employer or contract rules, in the form of a reprimand, suspension, or discharge."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
