A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO THE HAWAII HEALTH AUTHORITY.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 

     SECTION 1.  Section 322H-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (c) to read as follows:

     "(c)  One member shall be selected to be the [executive director] chair and confirmed by a majority vote of a quorum of the members of the Hawaii health authority."

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $        or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 for operating expenses of the Hawaii health authority.

     The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of budget and finance for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 3.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
