A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to Anonymous Contributions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 11-353, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (d) to read as follows:
"(d) This section shall not apply to
amounts that aggregate to less than [$500] $100 that are received
from ten or more persons at the same political function. The receipt of these
contributions shall be disclosed in a report filed pursuant to sections 11-333
and 11-335."
SECTION 2. This Act does not affect rights and duties that matured, penalties that were incurred, and proceedings that were begun before its effective date.
SECTION 3. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
