A BILL FOR AN ACT
making an appropriation to the department of education.
BE IT
ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2020-2021 for one hundred sixty-six full-time equivalent positions (166.0 FTE) for the purpose of funding applied behavior analysis staff and implementing Act 107, Session Laws of Hawaii 2016, and Act 205, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018 (EDN150/VA).
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of education for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
