A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to impact fees.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 

     SECTION 1.  Section 46-146, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended to read as follows:

     "[[]§46-146[]]  Time of assessment and collection of impact fees.  Assessment of impact fees shall be a condition precedent to the issuance of a grading or building permit or water meter and shall be collected in full before or upon issuance of the permit[.] or water meter."

     SECTION 2.  Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken.  New statutory material is underscored.

     SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
