| 3 | | line 19, by replacing "up to 4 phases:" with "up to 3 4 |

| 5 | | on page 29, by replacing line 5 with the following: |
| 6 | | "enter the residency. In residency, the candidate must: be |
| 7 | | assigned an effective, fully licensed teacher by the principal |
| 8 | | or principal equivalent to act as a mentor and coach the |
| 9 | | candidate through residency, and must complete additional |
| 10 | | program"; and

| 11 | | on page 39, by replacing line 15 through 19 with: |
| 12 | | "(3) (Blank). If needed, a second year of residency, which |
| 13 | | shall include the candidate's assignment to a full-time |
| 14 | | teaching position for one school year. The candidate must be |
| 15 | | assigned an experienced teacher to act as a mentor and coach |
| 16 | | the candidate through the second year of residency."; and
