Bill Title: Amends the Election Code. Provides that, not less than 68 days before the first date of early voting for the general primary (rather than 68 days before the date of the general primary), the State Board of Elections shall meet and shall examine all petitions filed with the State Board of Elections. Provides that, not less than 62 days before the first date of early voting for the general primary (rather than 62 days before the date of the general primary), each county clerk shall certify the names of all candidates whose nomination papers have been filed with such clerk and declare that the names of such candidates for the respective offices shall be placed upon the official ballot for the general primary.
