Bill Title: Amends the Correctional Budget and Impact Note Act, the Juvenile Court Act of 1987, the Pretrial Services Act, the Unified Code of Corrections, and the Probation and Probation Officers Act. Provides that the Division of Probation Services is established as an independent agency headed by a Director appointed by the Governor (rather than as a Division of the Illinois Supreme Court). Contains transition provisions. Effective immediately.
