10 ILCS 5/17-13.5

    Amends the Election Code. Provides that election authorities shall establish curbside voting (currently, may establish curbside voting) for individuals to cast a ballot during early voting and on election day (currently, during early voting or on election day).

1    AN ACT concerning elections.
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4    Section 5. The Election Code is amended by changing
5Section 17-13.5 as follows:
6    (10 ILCS 5/17-13.5)
7    Sec. 17-13.5. Curbside voting. Election authorities shall    
8may establish curbside voting for individuals to cast a ballot
9during early voting and or on election day. An election
10authority's curbside voting program shall designate at least 2
11election judges from opposite parties per vehicle, and the
12individual shall have the opportunity to mark the ballot
13without interference from the election judges.
