2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
5 | | changing Section 155.20 as follows:

7 | | Sec. 155.20.
All final arbitration decisions rendered in |
8 | | relation to disputes
or controversies arising out of injuries |
9 | | allegedly caused by reason of hospital
or health care provider |
10 | | malpractice shall be recognized by any insurance
company doing |
11 | | business in the
the State of Illinois and all findings of facts
|
12 | | relating to liability and awards of damages in relation |
13 | | thereto which are
a part of the final arbitration decision |
14 | | shall be binding on such insurance companies. |
