Bill Title: Amends the Day and Temporary Labor Services Act. Provides that a day and temporary labor service agency may recover attorney's fees and costs in a civil action brought by the day and temporary labor service agency against a third party client for breach of contract by the third party client in relation to services provided by the agency to the third party client if the plaintiff prevails in the lawsuit. Effective immediately.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
820 ILCS 175/96 new

Amends the Day and Temporary Labor Services Act. 1 AN ACT concerning employment.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Day and Temporary Labor Services Act is
5 amended by adding Section 96 as follows:
6 (820 ILCS 175/96 new)
7 Sec. 96. Day and temporary labor service agency; recovery
8 of attorney's fees and costs. A day and temporary labor service
9 agency may recover attorney's fees and costs in a civil action
10 brought by the day and temporary labor service agency against a
11 third party client for breach of contract by the third party
12 client in relation to services provided by the agency to the
13 third party client if the plaintiff prevails in the lawsuit.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
15 becoming law.
