1		AN ACT concerning education.
2		Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3		represented in the General Assembly:
4		Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
5		adding Section 180 as follows:
6		(110 ILCS 305/180 new)
7		Sec. 180. Free parking for adjunct professors and
8		part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board of
9		Trustees shall provide an adjunct professor or part-time or
10		non-tenure track faculty member hired to teach a class on
11		campus during an academic term with free campus parking or
12		full reimbursement for the cost of campus parking for that
13		academic term.
14		Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management
15		Act is amended by adding Section 155 as follows:
16		(110 ILCS 520/155 new)
17		Sec. 155. Free parking for adjunct professors and
18		part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board shall
19		provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
20		faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an
21		academic term with free campus parking or full reimbursement

1		for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.
2		Section 15. The Chicago State University Law is amended by
3		adding Section 5-265 as follows:
4		(110 ILCS 660/5-265 new)
5		Sec. 5-265. Free parking for adjunct professors and
6		part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board shall
7		provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
8		faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an
9		academic term with free campus parking or full reimbursement
10		for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.
11		Section 20. The Eastern Illinois University Law is amended
12		by adding Section 10-270 as follows:

14		Sec. 10-270. Free parking for adjunct professors and
15		part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board shall
16		provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
17		faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an
18		academic term with free campus parking or full reimbursement
19		for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.
20		Section 25. The Governors State University Law is amended
21		by adding Section 15-265 as follows:

8		Section 30. The Illinois State University Law is amended
9		by adding Section 20-275 as follows:

17		Section 35. The Northeastern Illinois University Law is
18		amended by adding Section 25-270 as follows:

9		part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board shall
10		provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
11		faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an
12		academic term with free campus parking or full reimbursement
13		for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.
14		Section 45. The Western Illinois University Law is amended
15		by adding Section 35-275 as follows:

18		part-time or non-tenure track faculty members. The Board shall
19		provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
20		faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an

22		for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.

1		Section 50. The Public Community College Act is amended by
2		adding Section 3-29.26 as follows:

4		Sec. 3-29.26. Free parking for adjunct professors and

6		provide an adjunct professor or part-time or non-tenure track
7		faculty member hired to teach a class on campus during an
8		academic term with free campus parking or full reimbursement
9		for the cost of campus parking for that academic term.
