Bill Title: Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department shall establish a maximum acceptable Global Warming Potential (GWP) standard for State purchases of vehicles, appliances, and building materials for use in State-funded infrastructure projects.

20 ILCS 405/217 new
Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services
Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by
adding Section 217 as follows:
(20 ILCS 405/217 new)
Sec. 217. Global Warming Potential. The Department shall
establish a maximum acceptable Global Warming Potential (GWP)
standard for State purchases of vehicles, appliances, and
building materials for use in State-funded infrastructure
projects.
