AN ACT concerning safety.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by
adding Section 52.15 as follows:
(415 ILCS 5/52.15 new)
Sec. 52.15. Prohibition of windmill construction. A entity
may not construct a windmill on land anywhere in the State
unless an equal number of windmills have been or are
constructed by the entity constructing the windmill within
3,000 feet of a county with a population more than 3,000,000.
