210 ILCS 135/13.2 new

Amends the Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act. Requires facilities licensed under the Act to notify the Department of Human Services when emergency calls are made from the facility. 1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Community-Integrated Living Arrangements
5Licensure and Certification Act is amended by adding Section
613.2 as follows:
7 (210 ILCS 135/13.2 new)
8 Sec. 13.2. Emergency notification. Any facility licensed
9under this Act shall notify the Department when emergency calls
10are made from the facility. The Department shall adopt any
11rules necessary to implement this Section, including, but not
12limited to, reporting procedures and protocols and penalties
13for failing to report.
