Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Provides that, if a disaster is declared by proclamation of the Governor for all counties in the State due to a public health emergency, the income tax filing and tax payment deadline required by the State of Illinois shall be extended until 90 days after the end of the Governor's declaration. Effective immediately.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

4 | Section 5. The is amended by adding Section 506.1 as | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

7 | Sec. 506.1. Tax filing deadline extended; public health | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
8 | emergency. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, if a | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
9 | disaster is declared by proclamation of the Governor for all | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
10 | counties in the State due to a public health emergency, the | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
11 | income tax filing and tax payment deadline required by the | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
12 | State of Illinois shall be extended until 90 days after the end | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
