| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Donald Gene | ||||||
| 4 | Monahan on his retirement from the Orland Park Police | ||||||
| 5 | Department; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Gene was born to Donald Francis and Margaret Mary | ||||||
| 7 | Monahan; he and his wife, Denise, are the devoted parents of | ||||||
| 8 | Ryan, Kelly, Trisha, and Mary Kate; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Gene began his law enforcement career at the | ||||||
| 10 | Midlothian Police Department in 1979; he joined the Orland Park | ||||||
| 11 | Police Department in 1986, eventually becoming Commander of | ||||||
| 12 | Administrative and Technical Services; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Gene is admired by his fellow officers and is a | ||||||
| 14 | legend who will never be forgotten; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 16 | NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 17 | congratulate Donald Gene Monahan on his retirement; and be it | ||||||
| 18 | further

| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to Gene Monahan.
