2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section |
5 | | 27-23.13 as follows:
|
6 | | (105 ILCS 5/27-23.13) |
7 | | Sec. 27-23.13. Hunting safety. A school district may offer |
8 | | its students a course on hunting safety as part of its |
9 | | curriculum during the school day or as part of an after-school |
10 | | program. The State Board of Education may prepare and make |
11 | | available to school boards resources on hunting safety that may |
12 | | be used as guidelines for the development of a course under |
13 | | this Section. Nothing in this Section shall be construed to |
14 | | allow anyone to bring to school any object listed in |
15 | | subdivision (1) or (2) of subsection (d) of Section 10-22.6.
