SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William T. "Ted" Babicki, who passed away
4on December 29, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, William Babicki served in the United States Army
6during World War II in France and Germany; and
7 WHEREAS, William Babicki was a lifetime member of Knights
8of Columbus Joliet Council 382 and Veterans of Foreign Wars
9Cantigny Post 367; he was also a member of American Legion
10Harwood Post 5 and Joliet Moose Lodge 300; and
11 WHEREAS, William Babicki was preceded in death by his wife,
12Helen (nee Kolenc); his parents, Theodore and Ida (nee Kapala)
13Babicki; his brothers, Leonard, Stanley, Bernard (Stella), and
14Edward (Fran) Babicki; and his sister, Florence (Walter) Bump;
15and
16 WHEREAS, William Babicki is survived by his sons, Raymond
17and Thomas (Jeanette) Babicki; his grandson, Joel Ryan Babicki;
18and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1William T. "Ted" Babicki, and extend our sincere condolences to
2his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3further
4 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of William Babicki as an expression of
6our deepest sympathy.
