2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of
Ronald "Pup" Dean Berg of Laura, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on November 7, 2010; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was born on April 19, 1963, in Peoria; | ||||||
6 | he was the beloved son of Donald E. and Sylvia Childress Berg; | ||||||
7 | and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was a graduate of Wyoming High School | ||||||
9 | and Black Hawk Junior College; he served his country with pride | ||||||
10 | and distinction for 5 years as a military policeman in the | ||||||
11 | United States Army; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was a member of the Stark County | ||||||
13 | Congregational Church; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was a devoted father who enjoyed | ||||||
15 | spending time with his children, watching movies and NASCAR, | ||||||
16 | and going to baseball games; and

17 | WHEREAS, Ronald Berg was preceded in death by his father | ||||||
18 | and his nephew, Nathan Torbert; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Ronald Berg is survived by his children, Levi, |

1 | Lucas, and Kaylee; his mother; his sisters, Becky (Tim) | ||||||
2 | Williams and Kathy (Dale) Markham; and his nieces, Dedre | ||||||
3 | (Lonny) Dennison and Andrea and Chelsea Markham; therefore, be | ||||||

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
7 | his family and friends, the passing of Ronald "Pup" Dean Berg; | ||||||
8 | and be it further

9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Ronald Berg as an expression of our | ||||||
